At Putnam County State Bank, our mission is to remain a growing, profitable, and locally owned community bank that combines the resources of a large financial institution with the personalized service of a trusted hometown partner. Bank History

Putnam County State Bank opened its doors in Unionville, Missouri, on July 5, 1979, with a vision to be locally owned, directed, and operated for the benefit of Putnam County and surrounding areas. Starting with a dedicated team of five employees, the bank focused on delivering valuable financial services while remaining competitive in the industry.

In 1992, we expanded by opening a branch in Milan, Missouri, to better serve neighboring communities. Today, our team has grown to 27 employees, many of whom have been with us for over 15 years. Several original board members continue to guide the bank, ensuring we remain a full-service, community-oriented institution.

For those seeking prompt, personal, and confidential service from a bank that truly cares about its customers and their communities, Putnam County State Bank has always been—and will continue to be—committed to meeting your financial needs.
